These terms and conditions govern your use of Chelsea Auto Works Ltd's services and website. Please read them carefully. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Chelsea Auto Works Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16597869.
All vehicles are sold as described. We make every reasonable effort to accurately represent the condition, history, and specification of each vehicle. Customers are encouraged to inspect vehicles in person and request a full vehicle history report prior to purchase.
If you are purchasing as a consumer (not in the course of a business), your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, including the right to reject a vehicle within 30 days if it is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described.
Part-exchange valuations are valid for 7 days or 500 miles from the date of assessment, whichever comes first. The final valuation may be adjusted if the vehicle's condition differs materially from that declared.
Vehicles left with us for service or repair are done so at the owner's risk. We maintain appropriate trade insurance but cannot accept liability for pre-existing damage not documented at the time of intake.
We guarantee all labour for a period of 3 months or 3,000 miles from the date of service, whichever comes first. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.
Payment for repair and maintenance work is due on collection of the vehicle. We reserve the right to retain a vehicle until payment is made in full, in accordance with our lien rights under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chelsea Auto Works Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of use of a vehicle, or costs of alternative transportation.
Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the value of the services or goods provided in the relevant transaction.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We take customer satisfaction seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us in writing at chelseaautoworks@gmail.com or at our registered address. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your transaction or visit shall apply. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
